I have 15 years of experience as a clinical social worker and psychotherapist.
During this time, I have worked with adults and children in a variety of
settings such as private practice, outpatient clinics, early intervention (birth-3),
and schools. Prior to entering the social work field I practiced law.
My professional work is also informed by my experience as a parent. When I
became a mother, I struggled with postpartum depression and had difficulty
coping with one of my children's medical issues. With support, I gradually
overcame these challenges and gained a deeper appreciation for our family's
strengths. Through this process I became increasingly drawn to helping others
during the transition to parenthood.
